A Turned Newel Post is a synthetic alternative to the traditional lathe-turned wood post. Polyurethane newels look and feel much like wood, with crisp, clean lines and a warm feel. Just like our large Cedar newel posts, this turned newel post has a hollow center which allows for our Newel Installation Kit which is very strong and completely hidden.
Actual size: 5 1/2″ wide. Can be cut to desired length if needed. Cut poly newels just as you would cut wood.
“Turned” portion is 21″ high, centered in the newel. Square portions (top and bottom) are 13 1/2″ each.
Use with all our 3 5/8″ Poly Rail System or 4 1/2″ Poly Rail System.
Turned Newel Post is reinforced with an internal PVC pipe. They are factory primed and ready for installation and paint.
