This Poly Rail to Round Column Adapter Kit is the solution for connecting your porch railings to round columns.
Attaching a railing to a round column has always been a problem. This Poly Rail to Round Column Hardware Kit is the solution. It is intended for use with a hollow column, like our Round Tapered Fiberglass Polymer Columns. This kit includes 4 PVC adapters with a concave side for the round column, and a flat side to fit the aluminum brackets of our Poly Rail Install Kit. The PVC adapters are custom made by American Porch to fit your column diameter. Also included are 8 T-bolts that allow you to anchor the adapter and rail bracket to a hollow round column. These specialized anchors require only very small holes in the column to protect the structural integrity.
The Kit includes 4 PVC Adapters, 8 T-bolts, and detailed printed instructions. One kit will do BOTH ENDS OF A RAIL SECTION FOR TOP AND BOTTOM RAILS, so simply purchase one kit per section of rail. In other words, it is enough for all 4 points where the railings attach to the columns in this Kit. It works well with any of our Polyurethane Baluster Railings. This kit does NOT include the aluminum brackets and hardware that comes with the standard rail installation kit. This kit is to be used in conjunction with the standard install kit to fit a round column.
