Specifications
Porch Brackets are an important exterior architectural element. These decorative architectural brackets are most often used under a cornice or against a porch post. They are made of high density Polyurethane foam so they look and feel much like wood brackets. These are decorative, and not structural support brackets.
High density cast foam Polyurethane material will not rot or crack, even when highly exposed to the weather. That along with the fact that it looks and feels like wood, make polyurethane the ideal material for use in porch bracket architecture. PVC or vinyl brackets look and feel like plastic because, well, they are. We think you’ll find our poly brackets to be the right choice for your porch or cornice.
Describing dimensions on a porch bracket can be a little tricky. Because the architectural brackets project out from the wall or porch post, the standard “length, width, height” dimensions can be confusing. We instead use width, height, and projection to describe the porch bracket dimensions, with the “projection” being how far it projects out from the wall or porch post.
Installation is similar to a wood product. Glue with PL Premium adhesive, and/or screw or nail, patch, and paint.
