Specifications
Size shown in the drop-down menu is the Newel Post Size, not the actual width of the cap. Cap will be wider to cover the post. These railing post caps are flat on bottom; they sit on top of the newel post. Polyurethane newel post caps are recommended for both poly AND wood newel posts. Fasten these railing post caps with a polyurethane adhesive such as PL Premium adhesive, and/or brad nails. They come primed from the factory and should be painted after installation. Low maintenance, will not warp, crack or rot.
